2025 Handgun World Championships

We have received 211 applications for the Handgun World Shoot XX. Here is a brief update on where we are with the Division Team, Category Teams, and individual slot allocation.
In December 2024 IPSC allocated 41 slots to the US Region. These slots cover our World Shoot Teams in six divisions and individual slots. With this allocation, we have enough slots to field Overall Teams in Open, Production Optics, Production, Standard, Classic, Revolver, plus category teams. The USA has traditionally sent more teams than this, and we have requested an additional 60 slots from IPSC.
We anticipate the next round of slot allocation to be about February 1, 2025. With that allocation, we can finalize Category Teams selection and allocate the remaining slots to individuals. We expect those Invites to be sent by February 15, 2025.
If you receive a first-round invitation, you will have seven days to accept the slot, sign a Letter of Intent, and pay for the slot. Slots are $680. (Second-round slots must be accepted and paid within 24 hours to facilitate administration of the slots in order of qualifying)
